Yunnan & Myanmar Photo DVD
This DVD contains a series of 180 photographs that will take you on a journey along the Salween river in the southwestern province of Yunnan, and the Ayeyarwady river flowing across Myanmar in a north-to-south direction. These rivers are among the greatest rivers in southeastern Asia, and could not be more different in appearance. Indeed, each river has made a different impact on the surrounding scenery, the cultural development and on people themselves. The images are accompanied by background music matching the scenery and the nature of the people. The combination of photo collage and music will take the viewer straight to the photographic scene and provides an opportunity to travel along for 24 minutes. Instead of spoken commentary, which was deliberately omitted, this text serves as a brief geographic and cultural introduction complementing the DVD in preparation of the visual journey.
