holds a PhD in pharmacy and has worked in the pharmaceutical industry for over 25 years. His professional activities in a global environment for various companies have led him around the globe and put him in contact with a great diversity of cultures. Since his very early years, he has taken great interest in photography, applied arts and creative writing. In addition to work-related travel, he has dedicated his spare time to exploring different cultures, particularly in South America, Namibia, the Middle East, Indochina and the Himalaya. His passion for quality, efficiency and effectiveness, coupled with his open mindset with regard to change and foreign lifestyles is reflected by his photography. He is a consultant and scriptwriter for documentaries, and successfully uses photography in coaching and mentoring change processes.

has worked as a self-employed photographer since 1976. Over the past decades, his dedication to photography has inspired him to capture striking impressions of countries such as Australia, Turkey and Iceland in particular. Numerous visits to the fascinating island allowed him to create a comprehensive documentary of Iceland through the media of photography and film.

His company, Fototeam Vollmer, is a hallmark for brilliant advertising photography and outstanding image films. Due to his professionalism and eye for detail, he pays close attention to technical subtleties such as individual scans in analogue photography and thorough fine-tuning in digital photography. Meeting standards of excellence while making a distinct artistic statement is characteristic of Lothar's work. Lothar enjoys sharing his know-how and actively promotes young talents.

Tobias Heink

Tobias Heink

is a trained advertising and industrial photographer, and has been a member of Fototeam Vollmer in Freiburg, Germany, for several years. As an enthusiastic photographer and passionate traveller, he has not only acquired excellent technical skills, but also developed a fine sense of expression in his photography. His pictures capture the essence of the subject, but are also poetic in nature. In his travels, he ventured off the beaten tourist trails and visited Rumania, Bulgaria, Scandinavia, Canada and Malaysia.

Since he completed his training, Tobias has applied different analogue and digital camera systems, using them both outdoors and in-studio. He takes an interest in cutting-edge equipment which he uses whenever it is available. Tobias applies state-of-the art technology in digital image editing during the post shooting phase, particularly when compositing pictures in serial photography and photo collages, or in the production of digital photo DVDs.

As a meticulous perfectionist, meeting top quality standards is his paramount goal.

Mickael Vasallo

is a musician, composer, artist and producer. He is a multi-instrumentalist who has occupied himself with music since 1993. Mickael plays a large number of instruments covering a wide range of musical styles. His repertoire reaches from World music to Rock and Pop, and includes electronic and classical compositions. In addition, Mickael has been a successful producer of soundtracks for movies and 3D-animations.

Mickael applies different artistic techniques in order to create impressions of vision and sound that will fascinate and inspire his audience. His complex works mainly revolve around concrete, experimental, abstract but also surreal visual and audio installations. For that, he uses authentic field audio recordings, as well as recordings of primordial instruments. The creation of multimedia works of art both fascinates and challenges Mickael.

Besides music, Mickael also utilises photographic elements and other expressive media. In recent years, Mickael has realised numerous projects including CDs, audiovisual programmes, compositions for multimedia shows, silent movies, art festivals as well as documentaries and art movies.

His artistic success is based on his profound knowledge in ethnology, history and vocational studies which he acquired during his studies at the university.
