terraINfocus aims to introduce visitors to less frequented regions, away from the main tourist attractions, and to give travellers a chance to discover the mysteries of unknown territories. terraINfocus encompasses very high standards of technical quality, focuses on particular geographical areas, and provides appealing visual materials. The resulting photo collages have an emotional appeal as they depict humanity in the context of nature, architecture in relation to the environment and the interaction of ethnic studies and the history of art. The images purposely create visual metaphors. They aim to give spectators an opportunity to reflect, or simply to pause and look.
terraINfocus uses analogue and digital photography in midsize and small image formats, as well as panoramic photography. The majority of projects are based on thorough research of historic and current literature and visual sources, i.e. travel reports, novellas, novels, documentaries and reportages. Moreover, terraINfocus focuses on creative studio photography and television documentaries.
